LWVGB president taking a temporary leave of absence

Trisha Powell CrainLWVGB President Trish Crain will be taking a temporary leave of absence for a few months from her League leadership duties. BUT, rest assured,  LWVGB work will continue! While Trish works on some very important personal job development tasks, the League's projects and activities will continue under the leadership of the LWVGB Executive Committee. The board has chosen Vice-President Yvonne Brakefield and Directors Jean Johnson and Joyce Lanning to serve on this committee. Trish will be back as our full-time president on March 1, 2014.

Trish, we will miss you, and we look forward to having you back in full force this Spring. Good luck in your endeavors!

With the help of some exciting online publication tools, this might take the form of an emailed news briefing (such as this message), a new LWVGB blog, a virtual "corkboard" (or bulletin board) or...? If you have ideas about the delivery method, please let Jean Johnson know at jjohnson@lwvgb.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
