Where:  Unitarian Universalist Church, 4300 Hampton Heights Drive in Birmingham

Who:  Members of the League will present information about our nation’s funding policies for agriculture, the new Farm Bill, the use of GMOs (genetically modified organisms) in our food and the effects of those GMOs as well as pesticides and other chemicals.

Joining us as a source of information will be the Honorable John McMillan, Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries for Alabama

No reservations are necessary.  Just come and join us for this very informational discussion of what we are growing to feed ourselves and the world, what it costs and how GMOs may affect what we eat.
