The state board appointed a committee to review and update our state positions, similar to what national is doing. At the most recent state board meeting the committee presented a revision of the Constitutional Reform (CR) position. The revised position will be presented in three major topics: Home Rule; Three Branches of Government and Taxes and Finances. The LWVGB will have two meeting dates and times for concurrence on the revised CR position. The meetings are set for Wednesday, October 9th, 12:00 noon at the Southside Library and Thursday, October 10th, 6:00 pm at the home of Nancy Ekberg, 2530 River Trace Circle, located behind Colonade on Hwy 280.
