Dear League Members and Friends,

HB 308 that will allow the citizens to vote on whether or not they approve of holding a constitutional convention to re-write the 1901 Alabama Constitution is in the House Constitution and Elections Committee.  It is critically important that we in League who support this action, contact our legislators and tell them to vote for the bill.  It is particularly important to convince Representatives Guin, Canfield, Davis, Fincher, Hammon, Mask, Love and Chair, Jimmy Martin.  Contact information for the committee is below. Remember to always speak in your own name, not in the name of the League.

We are making progress! The companion bill to HB308 in the Senate, SB 243, has successfully passed the Senate Judiciary Committee. Now we need your voice to make a difference in the House committee.
